“I’d love to photograph wild pangolins in the forest. A pangolin mother carries her baby on her body everywhere she goes. It would be a precious view to witness in the wild. When in danger, the mother will hold her baby tightly in her arms, and this desire for protecting her offspring comes naturally to all mothers in the world.

These mild, shy and cute animals don’t pose any threat to humans in the wild. Regrettably, meat and scales consumption, coupled with the continuous destruction of their habitats, has led to a sharp decline in their population. I hope all the killing and illegal trade can be eradicated, and pangolin populations can be restored in their natural habitat.

I’ve watched wildlife documentaries and see many similarities between us and animals. They have family, friends, and feelings, and should not be hurt by us. Like African elephants, who are poached for ivory. Even if one elephant is killed, the entire herd will be hurt and experience loss.

Pandas hold a special place in my heart as well. Not only do they share a special connection with China, but they’re very cute. There are very few wild pandas now and their habitat is severely fragmented. Also, protecting panda habitats can simultaneously protect more than 10,000 seed plants and more than 1,000 vertebrates. We need to protect the habitat of giant pandas, so they can be protected.

I also particularly like to see Arctic animals, especially polar bears and seals. But now that the global climate is warming, their living environment is also greatly threatened, so I hope more attention is brought to these animals.”

非洲象，野生大熊猫，北极熊，海豹 我之前看过一些关于动物的纪录片，就感觉动物们真的和我们人是一样的，有家人， 有朋友，有感情，不应该被肆意伤害。像非洲象，很多人为了象牙去伤害它们，而且 哪怕是一头象遭受杀戮，整个象群都会受伤。中国人和大熊猫似乎有一种天然的情感 连结，所以我也很喜欢它们。不仅仅因为它们长得可爱，也因为野生大熊猫的数量很 少了，它们的栖息地已经严重破碎化。我们要保护大熊猫的栖息地，这样才能真正保 护大熊猫。而且，保护大熊猫栖息地还能够同时保护超过约 10000 种的种子植物和超 过约 1000 种的脊椎动物。我还特别喜欢看北极的动物，尤其北极熊和海豹，小的时 候毛茸茸的特别可爱。但是现在全球气候变暖，他们的生存环境也受到了很大威胁， 所以还是挺想多关注一下的。
