Big 5s

“At the risk of sounding clichéd, I admit my favourite animal is the tiger. Not only are tigers majestic but there is something truly charismatic about them.

To see a tiger or to even catch a glimpse of its stripes through the grass in the jungle is electrifying. To actually see it in the wild playing, stalking or simply walking, it has a grace and a vitality that no other animal has.

You immediately get the sense of power that is unleashed when they are running or stalking. It’s almost impossible to be restrained with the camera when one is faced with the tiger; the play of light on its coat or its tawny eyes is simply surreal. What a loss it would be for the world if we lost the tiger in the wild.”
