“The giraffe tops my favourite animals’ list. Their magnificent patches and distinguishing patterns illustrate their beauty. Not to mention their tallness and how their majestic walks in Africa’s Savannahs have forever illuminated Nairobi’s tourism skylines and held pride in wildlife.
It’s so intriguing how they spend so much time standing. They seldom sleep much like other animals do, and females even give birth while standing. The long necks, innocent yet strong eyesight and the antiseptic properties in their tongues all mean I would happily watch them all day. I’ve even had them lick my face. They’re such intelligent creatures.”
