“I have always had a love of animals from an early age and I’ve had the privilege to work closely with lions for over 20 years.
The lion has a majesty without rival, an animal of such great presence, and it makes me think of strength, courage, leadership, power and of such awesomeness. They have a uniqueness and they are a recognised symbol of strength.
A lion is a cool animal, one really cool cat. Lions appear everywhere in our culture. I continually learn from them and revere in their wonder. The right door opened for me and has given me the chance to fulfil my passion of working with lions. My work is geared towards protecting lions as a species.
I love to photograph them when still or in motion, and I have also been able to work with some amazing photographers who capture the majesty of this phenomenal cat.”
