Big 5s

“Oh boy, it would have to be the elephant at the top. I like the big cats, lions and cheetahs, hippos and rhinos, of course, and giraffe. But elephants, for me, would be right at the top of the list.

Elephants are intelligent. They are powerful beasts, yet they are so gentle. I could say that a lot of these animals, like the gorillas too. You see the elephants come together and they help each other. They care for their young. I have seen countless videos of elephants and how they interact among themselves. They seem very gentle and caring, and I find them such a beautiful creature. They are vegetarian, like giraffes and like gorillas. They are relatively harmless unless you get between them and their calves.

I just love elephants. I look at an animal like an elephant or a giraffe, and they are so big but they are so vulnerable. They just kind of lumber along, minding their own business, and I feel so sad that they’re so vulnerable to poachers.”
